A clean and controlled environment is crucial in seed processing to safeguard the quality of the final product. During sorting, cleaning, and packaging, fine dust is released that can quickly spread, affecting air quality, employee health, product quality, and machine performance.

At Jongejans, we develop extraction and filtration systems specifically tailored to the properties of seeds and the demands of the process. By removing dust directly at the source, our systems prevent dispersion and create a cleaner, safer, and more efficient working environment.

Our solutions combine reliability with ease of use and are fully adapted to your production line and working methods. The result is less downtime, lower maintenance requirements, and higher seed quality.

ATEX Jongejans can equip its systems with ATEX-compliant components and safety measures, tailored to the identified risks and hazardous area classifications within your production environment. These may include suitable fans, filters and additional safety devices that contribute to the safe handling and extraction of dust.

ATEX regulations distinguish between requirements for the working environment and those for equipment. In the seed industry, dust zones 20, 21 and 22 are particularly relevant. The necessary safety measures depend on the specific application, the type of dust present and the operating conditions of the process.

By incorporating ATEX requirements into the system design from the outset, Jongejans delivers solutions that combine safety, reliability and optimal performance. In this way, Jongejans helps create suitable, future-proof air handling solutions, even in potentially explosive environments.

Clean air is vital in seed processing to ensure optimal quality and a dust-free operation.
