For over thirty years, Jongejans Luchttechniek has been fully dedicated to providing solutions for agricultural dust and loose sheets. Despite the coronavirus crisis, the agricultural sector is experiencing a strong need to invest in extraction systems for market leader Den Helder. To maintain its visibility in the domestic market, the company has appointed two new representatives for the Dutch market, Jim van der Voort and R\u00e9mon Koopman, who will maintain existing and new relationships.<\/p>\n

Jim van der Voort (26) has always been interested in the agricultural sector and, after working in retail for several years, has made the switch to Jongejans. He will be responsible for sales in North Holland, South Holland, and Zeeland. R\u00e9mon Koopman (28) also comes from a completely different sector, having worked as an account manager for an IT company. As a sales representative, he is the point of contact for agricultural customers in the other nine provinces. Both representatives have been undergoing training in the assembly and workshop since November to gain product knowledge and are now ready to serve the Dutch agricultural sector with extraction solutions. Remon's first impression is that the agricultural businesses are very welcoming. "You're welcome everywhere, and customers have very specific questions. You can really help people."\u201c<\/p>\n

Jongejans is by far the market leader in the Dutch market for extraction of potatoes, onions, flower bulbs, and seeds, and according to Jesse Vonk, this is a major advantage for the customer. "Because we've been able to equip some 90%s for the agricultural market with our extraction systems, we have experience with all types of processing and packaging lines. We can apply our specific knowledge to this specialization. From harvesting to packaging, the entire process is geared towards one goal: delivering beautiful, cleanly packaged products to customers. Customers realize that by investing in a permanent solution for agricultural dust and skins, they're better off and ready for the future."\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Extraction during flower bulb processing<\/h3>\n

\u201cSorting and packaging flower bulbs generates a lot of dust and skins. Just like a cleaner product, a smooth production process is becoming increasingly important, because you want to avoid line downtime during the season at all costs. While we used to focus solely on dust and skins, in recent years there has been an increasing demand for the suction of sour bulbs. By doing this efficiently, a significant amount of labor can be saved, which customers consider the biggest benefit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Remote monitoring<\/h3>\n

\u201cA key development in recent years is that we're building our systems so they can be monitored remotely. This allows us to remotely monitor malfunctions, proactively assist with solutions, and quickly resolve initial questions online. This has been a valuable addition, especially over the past year, when travel was made difficult by the coronavirus pandemic, and customers greatly appreciated it. By linking data, we can often resolve malfunctions remotely, but also automatically schedule maintenance intervals and ensure that technicians receive the correct parts, ensuring optimal and worry-free operation for our customers.\u201d<\/p>\n
