Processing (seed) potatoes generates dust, and foliage has become an increasing problem. While separating foliage from the product flow is difficult with machinery, air technology achieves good results. A combination of blowing and suction, also known as wind shifting, allows the foliage to be removed from the product flow. Jongejans Luchttechniek BV, an extraction specialist in the agricultural sector, has developed a special Foliage Separator for this purpose.
