Project Manager

What you will do
Managing the overall coordination, direction, and ultimate commercial responsibility for projects both domestically and internationally. The focus is on organization, quality and schedule monitoring, control, and the intensive maintenance of customer relationships. You work under the supervision of the Head of the Project Office and provide functional leadership and guidance to Project Draftsmen/Project Engineers, field technicians, and internal coordination within your own projects.

  • Commerce & Customer Relations: You review quotations before accepting them as orders. You are the main point of contact for the customer, attend site meetings and coordinate with sales advisors.
  • Site Measurement & Initiation: You are responsible for frequently taking measurements on site and sketching out the first project ideas.
  • Checking & Validation: You check and approve the 3D drawings and material lists, including electrical lists, prepared by the Project Engineer before they are sent to the factory.
  • Planning & Project Management: You prepare the project planning and are ultimately responsible for monitoring it. You manage budgets, track project progress and prepare accurate post-calculations.
  • Logistics & Organisation: You arrange transport, cranes, aerial work platforms, export documents, hotels, and other project-related matters.
  • Leadership & Installation: You manage field technicians and Project Engineers. You provide installation instructions and act as the point of contact during installation.
  • Quality & Documentation: You deliver projects in accordance with applicable regulations, including ATEX, CE and the Machinery Directive, and ensure proper handover documentation.

  • Experience: You have experience in project leadership or project management.

  • Flexibility: You frequently visit customers in the Netherlands and abroad.
  • Mindset: You are practical, down-to-earth and like taking responsibility for your own work.
