In collaboration with dealer Manter Nordic, Jongejans Luchttechniek supplied and installed a complete extraction system at Fruedal Agro in Denmark. The project is a prime example of how targeted technical solutions can make a noticeable difference to the working environment, the machinery, and daily operations.
At Fruedal Agro, Managing Director Hans Pedersen is strongly committed to making the company future-proof by creating the best possible working environment. He sees agriculture increasingly evolving towards other modern production companies, where working conditions, well-being, and stable business operations are decisive competitive factors.

In potato production, the crop must be monitored year-round – from field maintenance to sorting and packaging, where dust pollution is particularly prevalent. Therefore, it was crucial to find a solution that functions reliably and efficiently during daily use and contributes to the foundation of a stable team of employees.

“I have been investing in a complete extraction system for some time now to reduce dust in production, create better working conditions and at the same time minimize unnecessary wear and tear on the machines,” says Hans Pedersen.
"I'd had a good eye for Jongejans's solutions for a while. I consider them the best in the industry. The choice was therefore relatively easy, especially since I could get them through Manter Nordic, with whom I already have a good working relationship," he continues.

Fruedal Agro produces approximately 15,000 tons of seed potatoes annually, which are used for products such as French fries, flour, and chips. International sales are handled by the distribution company UniPatatas, which Fruedal Agro owns jointly with three other companies. In the Danish market, sales are made directly to starch factories, which then supply Danish producers.

Scalable solutions carefully selected

In addition to the extraction system, Fruedal Agro also has a larger packaging system from Manter Nordic, consisting of a weighing system, a packaging line, and a palletizing line. The packaging line, in particular, was a new and technically more complex solution for the company. Therefore, good service was essential.

“We were always there when adjustments or support were needed, and the close collaboration ensured reliability in daily operations," says Kenneth S. Rasmussen, Managing Director of Manter Nordic. At the same time, both the packaging system and the extraction system were delivered as agreed, which contributed to a smooth commissioning without unnecessary delays.

With the new systems, Fruedal Agro is better prepared for the future. The solutions are also scalable, allowing for expansion as Fruedal Agro further develops and expands its production.
